Why "Mostly Human"
The AI industry has a credibility problem. Too much hype, not enough value. Too many people selling what they haven't built.
After 30+ years in technology — not as a theorist, but as a builder — one thing became clear: the industry needs practitioners, not marketers. People who focus on whether something actually works, not whether it trends.
Our founder spent 6 years running Undercurrent, a venture studio that built 20+ companies across industries. That experience taught us what actually matters when shipping AI products: clear thinking, honest trade-offs, and relentless focus on value.
We also build our own products — the Gram and the Cal — because we believe the best consultants are the ones who still build. It keeps us honest and sharp.
The name captures the core belief: the best AI work still depends on skilled, creative, professional human minds. AI is the amplifier, not the replacement. We're mostly human. And in an industry that sometimes forgets that, that's not a bug — it's the whole point.

30+ years in technology. Most recently spent 6 years as founder and CEO of Undercurrent, a venture studio that built 20+ companies across fintech, healthtech, media, and enterprise SaaS. Before that, decades of hands-on experience shipping products and leading technical teams across industries.
